An official from Seongbuk-gu stated, “Some residents donate funds to help those in need or directly participate in disinfection activities,” adding, “It seems there is a shared awareness that everyone is a protagonist in overcoming COVID-19.”
On the 7th, Rejum, a manufacturer specializing in beauty devices, donated 100 non-contact thermometers. CEO Jin-Hyun Kim expressed, “We feel gratitude and pride that the products developed and manufactured with the company’s full capabilities are being used for the safety and health of Seongbuk-gu residents and users of social welfare facilities.”
District Mayor Seung-Ro Lee said, “Non-contact thermometers are essential items to prevent the spread of COVID-19, so facilities used by vulnerable groups must have sufficient quantities,” and added, “We are grateful for Rejum’s sharing and will do our best to deliver the thermometers to places where they are most needed.”
Rejum, recognized for its technological prowess including winning first place in the LED mask category at the 2020 Korea Brand Power Awards, continues to donate thermometers to help overcome COVID-19.
