According to the Iksan Land Office on the 10th, as the water level of the Seomjin River decreased, equipment and personnel were deployed from the morning to start emergency repairs on the washed-away embankment.
The emergency repair is being carried out by stacking sandbags filled with soil and other materials on the washed-away embankment, and it is expected to take at least 2 to 3 days.
In addition, permanent restoration plans will be promoted after expert consultations on the cause analysis of the washout and safety assessments.
