View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Shinhan Vietnam Bank announced on the 10th that it has signed a business agreement with Van Lang University, a major private university in Vietnam.
Through this agreement, Shinhan Bank plans to promote key collaborative projects including ▲Shinhan School Banking (digital tuition payment and management solution) ▲low-interest student loans ▲financial support for scholarship students ▲Shinhan Digital Campus (electronic student ID and co-brand card) ▲Shinhan Vietnam Bank internship program for Van Lang University students.
In particular, Shinhan School Banking has already completed preliminary testing and is scheduled to be introduced to about 20,000 students in time for the new semester in September, with plans to offer new services based on a close partnership in the future.
At the event, Shin Dong-min, head of Shinhan Vietnam Bank, and Nguyen Cao Tri, chairman of Van Lang University, were respectively appointed as 'Honorary Special Advisors' of Shinhan Vietnam Bank and Van Lang University, promising continuous cooperation between the two organizations.
A representative of Shinhan Vietnam Bank said, "This agreement is significant in that Shinhan Vietnam Bank is securing the MZ (Millennial + Generation Z) market, the future leaders of society," adding, "It will be a good opportunity to raise awareness of Shinhan's digital brand among Vietnamese students, parents, and faculty."

Meanwhile, Shinhan Vietnam Bank currently operates the largest number of branches among foreign banks with 36 locations, and plans to further accelerate local operations in Vietnam by establishing five additional branches in the second half of the year, including in Can Tho City and Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
