POSCO Construction Opens The Sharp Gallery to the Public
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] POSCO Engineering & Construction announced that from the 10th, it will open its residential culture exhibition hall, 'The Sharp Gallery,' to the public.
Located at 633-3 Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, The Sharp Gallery spans three floors and is designed around the concept of 'STEEL MEETS NATURE.' According to the company, the gallery introduces the excellence of buildings constructed using POSCO Group's high-quality steel materials and presents the unique features of architecture and the future of residential culture.
In the first-floor lobby, an 'Interactive Media Art Wall' that responds to visitors' movements is installed. When visitors pass in front of the screen showing falling rain, keywords related to 'Corporate Citizenship' such as coexistence, symbiosis, customer, and ethics, along with an umbrella-shaped 'Roof of Hope,' appear above the visitors' heads on the screen, symbolically shielding them from the rain.
Additionally, visitors can experience POSCO Engineering & Construction's advanced smart technologies through the media table of POSCO's premium steel brand 'Inobuild' and augmented reality (AR) techniques.
The second floor serves as a model house for residential complexes in the Seoul area, while the third floor is a complex cultural center featuring a remodeling hall where visitors can glimpse POSCO Engineering & Construction's future residential spaces, a terrace with a view of Dosan Park, a book caf?, and steel objects made using POSCO steel materials. Visits are conducted four times a day, and due to COVID-19, entry is only possible through prior reservation.
