Full Lift of Traffic Restrictions on Seoul Gangbyeonbuk-ro and Naebu Expressway
Olympic-daero and Nodeul-gil Still Under Control
Traffic restrictions on the Seoul Dongbu Expressway, Naebu Circular Road, and Gangbyeonbuk-ro have been lifted. However, some main roads, including Olympic-daero, remain restricted. According to the police and Seoul city officials on the 7th, the Dongbu Expressway, which was restricted the previous day, was fully reopened from 6 a.m. that day. This was due to the reduction of the Paldang Dam discharge to 13,000㎥/s and the lowering of the water levels in Jungnangcheon and the Han River (Han River Bridge 7.1m). Additionally, at 8:40 a.m. that day, traffic restrictions were lifted on Gangbyeonbuk-ro from the north end of Wonhyo Bridge (Yongsan) to the main road entrance of the Medical Association (Mapo).
