Ongoing 'Korea Genuine Seafood Festival' with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries until November 15
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Wemakeprice has stepped up to help fishermen struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Wemakeprice announced on the 7th that it will hold the 'Korea Genuine Seafood Festival' promotion until November 15th to boost seafood consumption in collaboration with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.
During the 'Seasonal Seafood 1st Special Exhibition' held until the 19th, carefully selected premium products such as minoeo (croaker), jangeo (eel), and jeonbok (abalone) will be sold. A 20% coupon usable for purchasing minoeo, jangeo, and jeonbok will also be provided during this period. Afterwards, until November 15th, events to promote seafood consumption will continue to support products whose sales channels and exports have been blocked due to COVID-19. From August 20th to September 2nd, a special exhibition will be held featuring freshwater fish species and export-challenged items. From September 7th to September 30th, and from October 26th to November 15th, the 2nd and 3rd seasonal seafood events will take place.
