Placed on the First Screen of Open Banking Service... Enhancing Customer Convenience
Product and Menu Composition Recommendations Based on Individual Characteristics
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 4th that it has rearranged the screen and upgraded the services of its personal mobile banking application ‘i-ONE Bank’ to enhance customer convenience.
The screen layout was reorganized with a focus on improving the convenience for customers who hold accounts at other banks. It is now easier and faster to transfer funds, check balances, and view transaction history of accounts from other banks.
The ‘Open Banking’ service has been placed on the home screen, allowing users to access the service directly without going through multiple steps. Other bank accounts can be registered on the main account inquiry screen, enabling users to check balances and make transfers just like with their IBK accounts. By analyzing frequently used transaction details, search history, and product subscription records for each customer, the app also recommends personalized menu configurations and products. Features providing key benefits and financial schedules, such as fee discount information, maturity dates of savings/deposits, and interest payment dates, have also been enhanced.
To commemorate this upgrade, IBK will hold a special preferential interest rate event from the 4th to the 23rd. Among customers who subscribe to the IBK D-day Savings (6-12 months) and i-ONE Playground Savings, 2,000 customers (1,000 per product) will receive a special preferential interest rate coupon of 0.8%p per annum, and 6,000 customers (3,000 per product) will receive a 0.5%p per annum coupon. Coupons can be entered up to three times a day in the ‘Coupon Zone’.
