Donation Relay for Heavy Rain Victims by Yoo Jae-suk, Yoo In-na, and Others
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Yoo Jae-suk donated 100 million won to be used for flood victims affected by heavy rain.
According to Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, Yoo Jae-suk donated 100 million won on the morning of the 3rd to the 2020 Flood Damage Emergency Relief Campaign operated by Hope Bridge.
Hope Bridge stated that Yoo Jae-suk has been donating since 2006, starting with 10 million won for flood relief funds, and has contributed during major disasters such as the Sewol Ferry disaster in 2014, the Daegu Seomun Market fire in 2016, the Pohang earthquake in 2017, and the Gangwon Province wildfire in 2019.
Earlier this year, he donated 100 million won to Hope Bridge to help respond to the novel coronavirus infection.
The total amount Yoo Jae-suk has donated to Hope Bridge as of this day is 710 million won.
Other celebrities also followed with donations.
Actress Yoo In-na contributed 50 million won to Hope Bridge for flood damage recovery on the same day.
