Gwangju Dong-gu Talent Development Scholarship Foundation, Recruiting Scholars Until the 31st
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] The Dong-gu Talent Development Scholarship Foundation in Gwangju Metropolitan City (Chairman Kang Cheol-seong) announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting scholarship students for 2020 until the 31st to discover and nurture outstanding talents who will lead regional development.
The Dong-gu Talent Development Scholarship Foundation held its 29th board meeting last month and resolved to provide a total of 73 million KRW in scholarships to 56 students, including 26 high school students and 30 university students.
Applicants must be residents who have been registered and living in Dong-gu for more than one year as of the announcement date, or their children. The recruitment fields include academic excellence, low income, and specific categories.
The specific categories include ▲special talents ▲recommendations related to volunteer work, good deeds, and filial piety ▲winners of various startup and idea contests ▲multi-child families ▲multicultural families ▲students of alternative schools officially approved by the authorities.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the administrative welfare center of the applicant's residential neighborhood, and the final selection will be confirmed and individually notified in October after the scholarship foundation's final review.
