Naju-si Expands and Operates Face-to-Face Services at Dementia Safety Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 3rd that it will gradually expand and operate face-to-face services at the Public Health Center Dementia Safety Center starting from the 3rd, following the transition to Level 1 social distancing in response to COVID-19.
From this day, the Dementia Safety Center will operate a 1:1 advance reservation system to minimize contact for early dementia screening candidates aged 60 and over, who are at high risk of COVID-19 infection.
In addition, the center plans to provide on-site consultation and screening services in order of reservation while strictly adhering to quarantine rules such as disinfecting inside and outside the center, wearing masks, and measuring body temperature to prevent COVID-19 infection.
For those registered with a dementia diagnosis, support will be provided for care supplies and dementia treatment management fees, and periodic case management and monitoring will be conducted to offer ‘house-to-house 1:1 customized visiting services’ according to their health condition.
