Gangnam-gu, Recruiting Students for Pet Care Expert Training Program
Recruitment until the 31st... Animal Care Specialist Private Certification and Veterinary Technician Theory and Practice for Employment and Entrepreneurship Connection
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is recruiting 40 students on a first-come, first-served basis to participate in a companion animal expert training program until the 31st.
The district, in collaboration with the Korea Companion Animal Education Center, will conduct training from September to November at the SETEC Convention Center, designated animal hospitals, dog grooming academies, and kindergartens, aiming to nurture companion animal experts and connect trainees with employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
The main curriculum includes ▲ courses for obtaining private certifications as companion animal management experts and kindergarten teachers ▲ theory and practice in veterinary technician (companion animal nurse), dog grooming, and animal behavior correction. The tuition fee is 100,000 KRW.
Applicants can apply through the Korea Companion Animal Education Center website, and for more details, inquiries can be made to the Regional Economy Division's Animal Management Team or the Korea Companion Animal Education Center.
