[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Professor Kim Geun-sik of Gyeongnam National University, who served as the advisory group leader for the confirmation hearing of National Intelligence Service (NIS) Director Park Ji-won from the United Future Party, criticized Park for exposing his movements on Facebook, saying, "Clench your fists tightly and hold back from Facebook."
On the 2nd, Professor Kim said on Facebook, "Either he still mistakenly thinks he is a politician or he cannot stop his personal exhibitionism."
On the same day, Director Park posted on Facebook, "I offer my condolences to everyone suffering from the flood damage. I am going to church," which drew criticism for inappropriately exposing his personal movements as the NIS Director.
In response, Professor Kim pointed out, "For the NIS Director, all movements and schedules are top security matters," adding, "If you want to properly serve as the NIS Director, keep your mouth shut, clench your fists tightly, and refrain from broadcasting or Facebook."
