According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters on the 1st, 18 out of the 72 Iraqi construction workers who returned the previous day tested positive for COVID-19. Forty-nine tested negative, and five are undergoing retesting.
Among the 293 Iraqi workers who returned on the 24th of last month, 77 tested positive. They are currently receiving treatment at medical institutions such as the National Medical Center.
Meanwhile, regarding the cluster infection that occurred at an outdoor camping site in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, no additional confirmed cases have been reported beyond the existing nine.
At this camping site, among six families (each consisting of a couple and one child) who gathered for a 2-night, 3-day meeting from the 24th to the 26th, nine people from four families tested positive.
