Jin Air Launches Gimpo and Jeju Routes from Pohang Airport
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] On the 31st, Pohang City in Gyeongbuk held a launch ceremony for the Gimpo-Jeju route at Pohang Airport, which has been out of service since February due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The Jin Air aircraft launched this time is a B737-800 (189 seats), with fares ranging from 20,000 to 90,000 KRW depending on the reservation date and seat class.
Mayor Lee visited Jeju Island on the first passenger flight of the launch day and held a meeting with Jeju Governor Hee-ryong Won to discuss measures to expand and revitalize airport usage.
