Naver Supports Online Business for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises through Smart Store
Introducing the 'Workplace Free' Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Naver Business Platform (NBP) announced on the 31st that it will launch the 'WORKPLACE Free' service to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating on Smart Store easily manage their online tasks.
WORKPLACE Free provides essential functions necessary for company management and operations, such as work hour management, HR, accounting, expenses, and electronic approvals. Among these, only the core features that benefit SMEs running small to medium-sized online malls on Smart Store will be offered free of charge.
WORKPLACE Free's strength lies in generating filing files that allow SMEs, who struggle with complicated tax reporting and feel burdened by the cost of external tax agency services, to easily register value-added tax (VAT) tax reports on the National Tax Service's Hometax system.
In addition, it offers functions that establish the basic framework for business operations. Even employees with short working periods, such as part-timers, who require attendance management can easily register and manage their information, and a workflow service that documents key company tasks and shares them internally is also available.

In the future, functions that automatically generate vouchers linked to shopping transaction details and extract basic data necessary for tax reporting will also be introduced. Huh Mi-yang, head of NBP WORKPLACE, said, "We are focusing on strengthening accounting-related functions so that Smart Store sellers can use WORKPLACE effectively, and we are continuously working to incorporate information and functions necessary for the growth of online malls into the service."
