iPhone SE Challenger Emerges... Google Announces Pixel 4a Launch on August 3
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] Google announced on August 3rd the release of its new smartphone, the Pixel 4a.
IT foreign media such as The Verge reported on the 30th (local time) that Google posted a teaser on its online store stating that "The Google Just What You`ve Been Waiting For Phone" will be unveiled on August 3rd.
Previously, with the discontinuation of the Pixel 3a on the Google Store and elsewhere, the release of the Pixel 4a had been anticipated. John Prosser, known as an IT specialist Twitter user, also predicted the August 3rd release, stating that the device had already been sent to review groups.
The Pixel 4a, an entry-level smartphone, is expected to be priced at around $349, which is lower than the Apple iPhone SE. Major foreign media interpreted this pricing strategy as a conscious effort to compete with the cost-effective iPhone SE.
