72 Korean Construction Workers Dispatched to Iraq to Return Home Tomorrow by Charter Flight
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Seventy-two Korean construction workers dispatched to Iraq will return to Korea on the 31st (Korean time) via a chartered flight.
A representative of the Korean Embassy in Iraq stated on the 30th, "Excluding essential personnel, 72 workers who wish to return will come back to Korea on a Qatar Airways chartered flight," adding, "Among them is one infected person who was discharged after their condition improved."
The body of Seo Mo, who died on the 22nd from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) at a local hospital in Iraq, will also be transported.
