KIC Announces Open Recruitment for Youth Interns... Application Deadline Until the 13th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] The sovereign wealth fund Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) announced on the 30th that it will conduct its 2020 youth internship recruitment through a blind selection process.
This recruitment is open to all youth aged between 15 and 34 according to the Youth Employment Promotion Act, regardless of academic background, major, or gender. The final number of selected candidates is expected to be 16.
This year, KIC will also conduct socially equitable recruitment, selecting 4 candidates from the total number of recruits through a special selection for persons with disabilities. Applications must be submitted by 3 PM on the 13th of next month (based on final submission), followed by written tests and interviews, with the final successful candidates announced at the end of September.
The successful candidates will be assigned to departments such as investment management, risk management, and business administration, gaining practical experience related to global investment operations over a period of four months.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, KIC plans to thoroughly manage quarantine measures including disinfecting the entire testing venue before and after the exam, mandating mask-wearing for all examinees, conducting temperature checks before entering the test site, and ensuring social distancing among candidates.
