Pohang City Recruiting Citizen Policy Group ... "Discovering Ideas for Municipal Development"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang City, Gyeongbuk announced on the 30th that it is recruiting a Citizen Policy Group so that citizens can directly design a "happier and better Pohang to live in."
The Citizen Policy Group will be organized into teams of 3 to 5 members and operated as a gathering to discover and research various ideas for city administration development. The policy discovery areas cover all aspects of city administration, including youth, women, small business owners, culture and arts, transportation, population, and future industries.
The Citizen Policy Group will be active from September 1 until the end of the year. Pohang City plans to accept applications until August 27, conduct the first round of screening in November, and announce the final successful candidates in December. During the activity period, Pohang City will support capacity-building education and provide consultations from relevant departments to review the feasibility and applicability of research projects.
