Tongyeong-si, Mobile Food Poisoning Inspection for Food Poisoning Prevention
On-site Inspection of Food Safety Management by the Food Safety Policy Committee
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] On the 28th, Tongyeong City in Gyeongnam announced on the 30th that it conducted inspections and checks on seafood restaurants around the beach using a mobile rapid food poisoning inspection vehicle to prevent food poisoning during the summer season.
The inspection vehicle is equipped with devices that can estimate the presence of food poisoning bacteria. It is a mobile inspection vehicle consisting of a rapid inspection room, conference room, preprocessing room, and genetic analysis room.
It can also be used for education and promotion by publicizing food poisoning prevention through an external monitor.
On that day, private members of the Food Safety Policy Committee's expert committee conducted ATP testing demonstrations on cooking utensils at seafood restaurants in the central market and on-site Vibrio bacteria inspections (6 cases) of aquarium water at seafood restaurants around Donam-dong, all of which received satisfactory results.
Kang Jisuk, head of the Tongyeong Public Health Center, said, "As the risk of food poisoning increases during the summer, we will continue to conduct hygiene inspections targeting seafood handling businesses such as seafood restaurants to ensure safety," and added, "We hope everyone follows preventive measures such as hand washing, eating cooked food, and boiling food to have a healthy summer."
