Paldo Launches 'Pororo Crispy Hot Dog 2 Types', Healthy Snacks for Children
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Paldo announced on the 30th that it will launch two types of healthy children's snacks, ‘Pororo Crispy Hot Dog 2 Types (Pororo Hot Dog)’.
With this new product launch, Paldo's hot dog lineup has increased from the existing two types to four types. Paldo plans to segment its hot dog market strategy and strengthen brand competitiveness by expanding its product lineup.
The ‘Pororo Hot Dog’ consists of ‘Original’ and ‘Cheese & Sausage’ varieties. Both products are crispy hot dogs, characterized by a crispy exterior and a soft interior. Additionally, the sausages used contain no preservatives, antioxidants, color fixatives, or synthetic flavorings. The dough includes four types of green and yellow vegetable powders?pumpkin, carrot, onion, and parsley?providing nutrition for growing children.
Kim Seong-hee, Paldo's marketing manager, said, “The ‘Pororo Hot Dog’ is a healthy snack that anyone from children to adults can enjoy.” She added, “We plan to focus on channel expansion and various marketing activities to allow more customers to experience the brand.”
The product weighs 75g, with prices of 1,600 KRW for the ‘Original’ and 1,700 KRW for the ‘Cheese & Sausage’. Purchases are available through online shopping malls such as Gmarket and 11st. In the future, Paldo plans to gradually expand the sales channels of ‘Pororo Hot Dog’ from online to offline.
