Tokyo recorded more than 200 new cases for two consecutive days. The previous day, there were 266 cases. The cumulative number of confirmed cases reached 11,861.
In Tokyo, the number of confirmed cases increased by about 1,800 in the past week, accelerating compared to the previous week (1,700 cases).
