Dongseo University Signs Drone Agreement with Four Domestic Universities and Mongol National University
Regional LINC+ Project Groups Agree to Collaborate on 'Drone Technology Education and Industry-Academia Cooperation Activation'
The LINC+ Project Group at Dongseo University signed a business agreement with major regional LINC+ project groups such as Dankook University, Sunmoon University, and Yonsei University Wonju Campus, as well as Mongolian National University, to promote "drone technology education and industry-academia cooperation."
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The LINC+ Project Group of Dongseo University announced on the 29th that it has signed a business agreement with major regional LINC+ Project Groups including Dankook University, Sunmoon University, and Yonsei University Wonju Campus, as well as Mongolian National University, to promote ‘Drone Technology Education and Industry-Academia Cooperation.’
Through this business agreement, the four LINC+ Project Groups and Mongolian National University will jointly develop industry-academia cooperation-friendly technology education programs related to drones.
They will work together toward the common goal of creating jobs in the drone sector, a key technology complex of the 4th Industrial Revolution, by strengthening employment and start-up education capabilities, holding joint symposia on drone technology education, and establishing cooperative systems among drone companies in each region.
Prior to this, the five universities, as representatives of the public sector, held discussions with the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL) and the Gangwon Medical Device Industry Association on various industry-academia-government cooperation plans, including presentations on drone technology and service cases and joint discovery of specialized fields for drone technology education by region.
The Dongseo University LINC+ Project Group initiated this agreement to select 4th Industrial Revolution items that leverage regional characteristics and university strengths based on local industry manpower demand, aiming to intensively nurture outstanding talent.
