Dongjak-gu 'Village Resource Map' Production
By September, 10,000 Copies of Guide Maps for Shared Spaces and Items at Public Institutions and Nanum Stores to Be Produced... New QR Codes Linked to Online Maps and Village Resource Boards on Old Website to Enhance Usage
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Changwoo Lee) will create a "Village Resource Map" by September to promote sharing and revitalize the village community.
This project was selected in March through the Seoul Metropolitan Government's "2020 Autonomous District Sharing Promotion Support Project" competition. It aims to provide residents with information on sharable free and paid spaces and goods in the public and private sectors within the area both online and offline, to revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnated due to COVID-19.
First, on the 20th, the district conducted training for seven village support activists at the Dongjak-gu Village Autonomy Center on field survey methods and precautions for village resources, and will produce and distribute the village resource map by September.
The survey scope of village resources includes ▲public institutions and welfare agencies ▲apartment communities ▲other resident activity spaces such as cafes and sharing stores, as well as sharable goods within these spaces, providing sharing resource information according to the characteristics of each neighborhood.
For groups less familiar with online information, the district will provide 10,000 printed copies of the foldable village resource map at neighborhood community centers, the district office civil service center, and related organizations.
The front side of the village resource map details the names and locations of space resources on a map, while the back side provides detailed information such as facility names, addresses, phone numbers, operating hours and fees, programs, and sharable goods.
In particular, the district will diversify accessibility so that the village resource map can be utilized by people of all ages and genders as much as possible.
To maximize resident convenience, the district will ▲insert QR codes on the front of the map linking to internet maps with detailed facility information and photos ▲link with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's integrated public sharing resource service portal (Gongyu Nuri) ▲and open a "Our Neighborhood Village Resources" bulletin board on the district office website.
