Even if chronic disease patients such as those with hypertension, hyperlipidemia, or diabetes are continuously receiving medication and treatment, they can subscribe at about 80% of the premium compared to existing insurance products for policyholders with pre-existing conditions.
Applicants must not have been hospitalized or undergone surgery within the last 3 years, and must not have been diagnosed with or hospitalized or undergone surgery for any of the 8 major critical illnesses (cancer, leukemia, angina, myocardial infarction, heart valve disease, liver cirrhosis, stroke, AIDS) within the last 5 years.
The product includes targeted anticancer drug approval treatment costs, a cutting-edge cancer treatment method, and also covers lifestyle diseases such as benign tumors, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, and urinary stones, which were not covered by existing insurance for policyholders with pre-existing conditions.
Additionally, with the Pay-Back function for premium waiver, if any of the five major premium waiver reasons occur during the premium payment period (cancer diagnosis, stroke, acute myocardial infarction, disease/injury with over 80% disability), the insured can receive a refund of the premiums already paid, as well as exemption from future premium payments for the coverage.
