GS Retail announced on the 28th that it urgently supported over 1,000 bottles of Jirisan Clear Spring Water (500㎖) to residents of Hyopseong Huefore Apartments in Dongnae-gu, Busan, who were affected by the sudden heavy rain, following an urgent request from the National Disaster Relief Association.
More than 1,000 households reside in Hyopseong Huefore Apartments, where residents faced significant difficulties such as the inability to use elevators due to unstable electricity supply caused by the sudden heavy rain.
Accordingly, GS Retail urgently provided over 1,000 bottles of Jirisan Clear Spring Water as relief supplies, prioritizing delivery to households with pregnant women, the elderly, and others with limited mobility.
GS Retail is operating a 24-hour hotline for support requests in preparation for additional flood damage, and has launched emergency operations centered on the Busan regional sales team, making every effort to prevent damage to GS25 franchise stores in the Busan area.
A GS Retail official said, "Residents of Busan are facing many difficulties due to the recent sudden heavy rain," adding, "Starting with this emergency relief supply support, we will take the lead in various support and recovery projects for Busan residents."
