Three Vietnamese Nationals Under Self-Quarantine Escape Temporary Facility in Gimpo (Update)

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] The police have launched an investigation after receiving a report that three foreigners quarantined at a temporary living facility for overseas arrivals in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi Province, escaped.
According to the Gimpo Police Station on the 27th, a report was received that three Vietnamese nationals housed at a temporary living facility for overseas arrivals in Gochon-eup, Gimpo-si, escaped from the facility that afternoon.
The police believe that the Vietnamese individuals used a fire escape to get out and fled. They have secured and are analyzing nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage to track their whereabouts.
The Vietnamese nationals entered the country through Incheon International Airport on the 20th and were quarantined at this facility as a preventive measure against COVID-19.
