20s Male Publicly Wanted for Following Woman and Breaking into Her Home
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] A man in his 20s who followed a woman home alone, broke into her house, and then fled has been publicly wanted.
The Daejeon Western Police Station distributed a wanted flyer on the 27th for a man estimated to be in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of trespassing.
According to the police, Mr. A followed a woman who was returning home in Doma-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, for 15 minutes around 11 PM on July 15th. At around 11:20 PM, when the woman arrived home and opened the front door, he immediately broke in. When the woman screamed in shock at Mr. A's intrusion, he fled.
The police, who responded to the report, reviewed nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and found that Mr. A had followed the woman for 15 minutes. They investigated people in the vicinity and the area but were unable to identify the suspect, so he is currently publicly wanted.
Mr. A is approximately 175 cm tall and was wearing a black mask, a black New Balance T-shirt, black Adidas pants, and white sneakers estimated to be Nike Air Max 97 at the time of the crime.
