Taehwagang Ecological Center Operates 'Aquatic Plant Stories'
Operation of Four-Season Ecological Education Program Partially Resumes from August
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Taehwagang Ecological Center in Ulju-gun, Ulsan, will partially resume its ecological education programs starting August 1, which had been postponed due to the spread of COVID-19.
The programs will be held every Saturday and on the fourth Sunday of each month. The "Aquatic Plant Story" class, part of the Four Seasons Ecological Experience Classroom operated in August, focuses on learning the characteristics of aquatic plants. The program includes observing aquatic plants outdoors at the ecological center and making lotus leaf fans as a hands-on activity.
An official from the ecological center stated, "To prevent COVID-19 and ensure visitor safety, we will require mask-wearing, conduct temperature checks, and only offer outdoor programs that minimize physical contact."
