Operation of Non-Face-to-Face Online Fire Safety Education
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) announced on the 24th that it will operate non-face-to-face online fire safety education to minimize the gap in education that was delayed or canceled due to the impact of 'COVID-19'.
Jeonnam Fire plans to actively promote non-face-to-face fire safety education by utilizing various educational materials and online platforms, reflecting the social atmosphere considering the spread of COVID-19.
The non-face-to-face education uses a two-way remote video conferencing program and can be conducted anywhere with internet access via a laptop or smartphone without location restrictions.
The target audience includes kindergarten (daycare) teachers, elementary, middle, and high school students, and nursing facility personnel, and applicants wishing to receive online fire safety education will be actively guided.
The non-face-to-face online classes will provide prior guidance on how to use the program, offer videos and ppt materials, and conduct theoretical and practical education through free rental of practice equipment.
The education content consists of ▲ Fire extinguisher, fire hydrant, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation education (So-So-Sim) ▲ Evacuation and response procedures in case of fire ▲ Future firefighter experience classes ▲ Basic fire safety education by age group ▲ Internal and external emergency treatment education.
