AIA Life Launches Employee Health Promotion Program 'Well-being@AIA'
AIA Life employees are launching the program 'Well-being@AIA' to encourage health promotion and are taking a commemorative photo.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] AIA Life announced on the 24th that it has launched an internal program called ‘Well-being@AIA’ to encourage employees to engage in health improvement activities amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This program allows AIA Life employees to share various activities and methods for living healthily, such as exercise and healthy diet information, and actively encourages participation.
To mark the start of the program, AIA Life recently held a ‘V Challenge’ photo certification event on its newly established internal digital communication platform on Facebook Workplace. The ‘V Challenge,’ named after the letter ‘V’ from AIA Life’s health & wellness program ‘AIA Vitality’ and the word ‘Victory,’ invites members to post photos of various ‘V’ shapes found in daily life along with messages supporting healthy living.
The challenge received an enthusiastic response. About one-third of all employees participated, with one employee receiving the grand prize for the most ‘likes,’ and another employee who produced a self-made video receiving a ‘special award.’ Additionally, 10 participants were selected by lottery to receive participation prizes. AIA Life plans to create a mosaic photo artwork reflecting AIA’s DNA using the photos collected through the ‘V Challenge.’

Furthermore, since the 13th, a ‘Healthy Snack Sharing’ event has been held internally for three weeks. Every morning, the first 50 employees who certify their health improvement activities receive healthy drinks and snacks on a first-come, first-served basis, promoting a healthy lifestyle. For the remainder of the year, AIA Life plans to design and implement counseling programs to help employees pursue mental well-being and programs that also take care of the health of employees’ families.
