[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] According to military officials, on the 24th, it was announced that one soldier was additionally confirmed positive at another unit near the 8th Division base in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, where a COVID-19 cluster infection occurred.
The additional confirmed case is presumed to have come into contact with an infected person after attending religious activities within the unit on the 19th.
However, Mr. A, a career counseling instructor suspected to be the source of COVID-19 transmission within the military, is understood not to have visited the unit where the additional confirmed case was found. No contact route between the additional confirmed case and the instructor has been identified.
