[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Hana Bank announced on the 24th that it has signed a partnership with SK TelecomCS T1 (T1), a global eSports team and a Korea-US joint eSports company with SK Telecom as the largest shareholder.
T1 holds the record for winning the ‘League of Legends’ World Championship three times and the most domestic league championships with a total of nine wins, a game enjoyed by 100 million people worldwide. Also, the first floor of the new T1 headquarters, scheduled to open in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, will be named the ‘Hana One Q-T1 Hall of Fame,’ and will offer benefits for T1 fans visiting there, such as ▲ opportunities to experience Hana Financial digital services ▲ exclusive events for T1 fans ▲ discounts on T1 goods.
For T1 players including Lee Sang-hyeok, Hana Financial Group plans to provide differentiated total financial services such as ▲ asset management consulting ▲ dedicated PB services ▲ professional gamer injury insurance to systematically manage high salaries and prepare and plan for their future after their professional gaming careers.
