Overnight, major indices on the New York Stock Exchange fell due to worsening U.S. unemployment data and a sharp drop in key technology stocks. Yumi Kim, a researcher at Kiwoom Securities, explained, "The domestic stock market is expected to bear the burden of the decline in major U.S. tech stocks, but the extent of the decline is expected to be limited. This is because the concerns over U.S.-China tensions were partially reflected the previous day, and the valuation pressure on large tech stocks has been an ongoing issue."
