KT Skylife and Lotte Rental Join Hands
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT Skylife announced on the 24th that it signed a comprehensive business agreement with Lotte Rental on the 23rd at its headquarters in Sangam-dong to launch a partnership product.
The two companies will launch a partnership product by July that adds KT Skylife's in-vehicle broadcasting service, skyAuto, to Lotte Rental's car rental service. Through this, skyAuto is expected to be more conveniently used not only in buses and vans but also in passenger cars and SUVs.
The partnership product is based on the basic skyAuto product and is configured with various contract periods ranging from 1 to 5 years to fit the vehicle rental structure. When signing a new long-term rental car contract with Lotte Rent-a-Car, customers can select it as an option and receive a new car equipped with skyAuto without additional installation time. The rear seat TV monitor is at the level of a premium genuine entertainment option. It is installed with a 10.1-inch Full HD specification developed exclusively for skyAuto.
The skyAuto AS network nationwide and Lotte Rent-a-Car's mobile maintenance service will continuously manage the skyAuto service to ensure smooth usage. Additionally, for customer convenience, skyAuto usage fees are integrated and billed together with the monthly rental fee for new long-term rental cars, eliminating the inconvenience of paying TV viewing fees and rental car fees separately.
