According to the police and Changwon City Council on the 23rd, Councilor Choi, at around 12:10 a.m. on the 1st, while driving under the influence in an alley near an apartment in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon, Gyeongnam, hit two parked cars on the roadside.
Realizing the accident, she got out of the car to check the vehicles she had hit in order to handle the situation.
However, while Councilor Choi was outside, her car, which was on an uphill slope, rolled backward and collided once more with a taxi following behind.
Local residents who witnessed this gathered and reported the incident, exposing Councilor Choi's drunk driving.
The police took Councilor Choi into custody at the scene. At that time, her blood alcohol concentration was 0.193%, a level that results in license cancellation.

The prosecution requested a summary order from the court for a fine of 10 million won against Councilor Choi.
