On this day, Kim Hak-do, the Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, visited the Chungcheong Training Center under construction in Cheonan, Chungnam. Chairman Kim inspected risk factors for safety accidents such as fall hazards, entrapment accidents, and fire outbreaks.
In particular, he checked ▲ the possibility of ground subsidence around the construction site ▲ the condition of drainage facility maintenance ▲ the fastening status of temporary structures against strong winds ▲ safety railings and safety facilities to prevent falling objects ▲ and the wearing of protective gear by workers.
Chairman Kim urged the on-site workers to frequently verify the safety of the workplace and to immediately improve any insufficient safety measures to thoroughly prepare against accidents.
The Small and Medium Business Corporation has been constructing the Chungcheong Training Center since November 2018. The total floor area is 11,858㎡, with an opening scheduled for March 2021.
