I'Park Mall Operates Contactless Reselling Box Service 'Parabara'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] I'Park Mall announced on the 23rd that it will install and operate the non-face-to-face used goods trading service 'Parabara' reselling box at D7 Food Cinema for those who have difficulty trading used goods, allowing easy and burden-free use.
The 'Parabara' reselling box is an idea service product developed by a startup team from Yonsei University. It preserves the advantage of used direct transactions, which is 'seeing the product with your own eyes before purchasing,' while solving the drawbacks of having to meet in person or receive items by courier. It is a so-called 'unmanned used goods vending machine.'
The I'Park Mall 'Parabara' reselling box is installed at the entrance of D7 Food Cinema in the direction of Taste Park, and product sales registration is possible through the 'Parabara' Play Store app.
With the 'Parabara' reselling box, sellers input product photos and desired prices through the mobile app and place the items inside the transparent locker box. Buyers can visit anytime they want, see the products in person, and purchase and take the items immediately if they find what they want.
I'Park Mall expects that the 'Parabara' service, a non-face-to-face reselling box, will act as a catalyst to revitalize the offline non-face-to-face used goods trading market in line with the 'post-COVID' era, which emphasizes the expansion of 'one-person lifestyle' and minimizing contact with others.

An I'Park Mall official said, "There is so much interest that some customers deliberately stop by the 'Parabara' reselling box during lunch or after work to browse the items for sale," adding, "The fact that customers can come at their preferred time and immediately take the desired products is expected to serve as another enjoyable experience element for visitors to I'Park Mall."
