Joint Cooperation for Youth Job Creation

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Institute of Design Promotion announced on the 22nd that it has signed a business agreement with Hongik University to foster future design talents through an industry-led youth customized training project.
The signing ceremony took place at Hongik University Sejong Campus. It was organized to help acquire rapidly changing related technologies and knowledge as new industries emerge with the introduction of 4th Industrial Revolution technologies.
The two institutions plan to establish a joint cooperation system to create jobs for youth. They will jointly promote various programs such as ▲exchange and utilization of education and research personnel ▲discovery and promotion of education and research programs ▲joint hosting and cooperation of seminars and academic conferences ▲development and cooperation of industry-led youth customized training curricula.

Yoon Juhyun, President of the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, said, "As the times change, related competencies are required to perform new tasks, so we aim to help both companies and youth acquire technologies and knowledge through re-education." He added, "Through this, we hope to secure job stability such as continuous employment, which will also contribute to enhancing national competitiveness."
