[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] East Asia Holdings announced on the 22nd that it has applied to the Financial Supervisory Service for an exemption from sanctions regarding the delayed submission of the semi-annual report for the 2020 fiscal year.
The company explained, "Our main business sites are located in China, where operations have been hindered due to movement restrictions caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), resulting in delays in preparing the semi-annual report."
