[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 22nd that it will hold an on-site meeting with about 20 young entrepreneurs who will lead future economic growth.
The meeting will be held this afternoon at the Ansan Youth Startup Academy in Gyeonggi Province. Kim Hak-do, the chairman of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, will attend to discuss practical policy fund support measures with young entrepreneurs. They will also talk about the difficulties faced by young entrepreneurs due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Small and Medium Business Corporation plans to introduce the startup direct investment linkage support project, which is being carried out this year in collaboration with Korea Venture Investment Corp., as well as the regional win-win Next Unicorn project conducted together with related organizations such as Kangwon Land.

Chairman Kim Hak-do said, "The Small and Medium Business Corporation is currently supporting 160 billion won in youth-exclusive startup funds, an increase of 30 billion won compared to last year, and provides combined investment and financing support to promising companies in new industry sectors. Going forward, we will actively support the growth of startups leading the post-COVID era based on collaboration between the government and institutions, while linking and supporting various projects such as funding, export, and manpower."
