LG Hausys Signs Business Partnership Agreement with iloom for Interior Design 사업
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] LG Hausys and Persys Group's lifestyle furniture brand 'iloom' have signed a business agreement to actively create synergy in their interior business.
On the 21st, LG Hausys and iloom announced that they signed the 'LG Hausys-iloom Interior Business Partnership Agreement' at the 'LG Z:IN Square' located in the furniture street of Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul, with LG Hausys Interior Business Division Head Executive Director Choi Young-il and iloom CEO Kang Seong-moon in attendance.
Both companies explained that this business agreement aims to jointly lead the growing B2C interior market by capturing the recent domestic interior consumption trend, which is shifting towards 'one-stop shopping' where consultations and purchases of various interior-related products are completed in one place.
LG Hausys and iloom plan to carry out broad cooperation in various fields, from developing interior space package products to distribution and sales.
In product development, they will jointly develop and showcase collaboration products such as iloom's dining products applying LG Hausys' key interior materials like premium artificial marble, as well as various themed interior space package products.
In distribution and sales, LG Hausys will open shop-in-shop stores in iloom showrooms, and iloom will do the same in LG Hausys showrooms. Starting with the opening of an LG Z:IN store in iloom's Mapo Seodaemun showroom in August, they plan to introduce shop-in-shop showrooms of both companies in major commercial districts nationwide.
Additionally, iloom will enter the 'LG Z:IN Mall,' and LG Hausys products and jointly developed package products will be linked and sold on the 'iloom official mall,' enhancing customers' convenience in interior shopping through online malls as well.
Choi Young-il, Executive Director and Head of LG Hausys Interior Business Division, stated, "We will maximize customer satisfaction and lead the market by providing customers with the best one-stop interior shopping experience combining interior materials and furniture."
