Woori Bank Obtains International Standard Environmental Management Certification ISO14001
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Woori Bank announced on the 21st that it has obtained the ‘ISO14001’ certification, an international standard for environmental management systems, from the Korea Productivity Center Certification Institute.
ISO14001 is a global-level certification for environmental management systems, granted after a rigorous review of business processes aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of corporate management activities.
Through this international environmental management certification, Woori Bank has established processes to systematically and efficiently operate environmental management, one of the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) elements, and plans to actively participate in the government’s Green New Deal policy.
