View original image[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] Kim Se-young (27, Mirae Asset) and Choi Woon-jung (30, Volvik) decisively defeated the American sisters Jessica and Nelly Korda.
On the night of the 20th, the first and second rounds of the 'Golfzon LPGA Skins Challenge' were held simultaneously at Golfzon Joymaru in Daejeon and Popstroke in Fort St. Lucie, Florida, USA. The skins format awards the prize money for each hole to the winner of that hole. Kim Se-young and Choi Woon-jung earned $12,000 in the first round with a $20,000 prize at stake, and in the second round, competing for $30,000, they won $18,900.
All prize money will be donated to support efforts to overcome the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Kim Se-young and Choi Woon-jung played their match in Daejeon at 8:30 p.m. Korean time, while the Korda sisters competed at 7:30 a.m. in the U.S., connected via screen video. Before the match, the players made heart shapes with their fingers and warmly said "Saranghae" (I love you) in Korean.

Kim Se-young said, "Since recent LPGA Tour events have not been held, I hadn’t seen the Korda sisters, so it was a joyful time to greet them through the screen," and added, "I am grateful to have such a meaningful opportunity." Choi Woon-jung also shared, "I enjoyed playing as a team with Kim Se-young," and said, "I was happy to play with the hope of helping with COVID-19." The LPGA Tour will resume the 2020 season with the Drive On Championship on the 31st.
