Geochang-gun, 'Commendation for Civil Servants for Prompt Handling of Civil Complaints'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] On the 20th, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced the selection of the 'Outstanding Department and Public Officials for Shortening the Processing Period of Overdue Civil Complaints' for the first half of 2020.
The county evaluates and awards departments and public officials who have shortened the processing time of civil complaints every year as part of its civil complaint service policy.
Overdue civil complaints refer to complaints with processing deadlines based on Article 4 of the Act on the Handling of Civil Complaints, with deadlines of 2 to 5 days or 6 days or more. The evaluation is conducted for all county public officials based on the incentive plan for shortening complaint processing periods implemented in January this year.
The evaluation method is calculated based on the electronic administration system's civil complaint processing records, and the comprehensive score is determined by combining 40% of the processing period reduction rate and 60% of the mileage reduction, selecting outstanding public officials accordingly.
For the first half of this year, the top performers in the mileage complaint category were Kim Young-do from the Environment Division as the best, No Young-tae from Geochang-eup as excellent, and Hong Jeong-mi, a public official from Gabuk-myeon, as encouraging. In the speed complaint category, the best was Shin Min-jung from the Economic Transportation Division, excellent was Kang Shin-su from the Welfare Policy Division, and encouraging was Kim Woo-young, a public official from the Civil Complaint Communication Division, each awarded as outstanding public officials.
