Plans to Actively Respond to Changing Industrial Environment by Expanding Target Industries in the Future
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] The Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority (GFEZ) Hadong Office (hereinafter ‘Hadong Office’) announced on the 20th that it will participate in the ‘13th Korea International Machinery Expo’ held at Changwon Convention Center (CECO) from the 21st to the 24th, conducting promotional activities to discover potential investment companies together with Hadong County.
The ‘Korea International Machinery Expo,’ held in Changwon, the cradle of Korea’s machinery industry, is a long-established machinery specialized exhibition hosted by Gyeongsangnam-do Province and Changwon City and organized by the Korea Machine Industry Promotion Association, playing a leading role in machinery industry marketing.
This expo is scheduled to be held under thorough quarantine measures in response to the unprecedented spread of ‘COVID-19,’ with about 120 companies participating to exhibit various items such as machine tools, factory automation equipment, metal processing equipment, measuring instruments, and robots.
The Hadong Office plans to provide participating companies with information on investment attraction support systems and promote the Daesong Industrial Complex. In particular, it expects to revitalize investment attraction by actively explaining Hadong County’s exceptional location subsidy system, which supports up to 30% of the sale price for regionally concentrated industries and advanced industries.
