The office is promoting projects such as creating eco-friendly healing spaces, installing sewer pipes, and the Masan Bay water quality improvement project.
The creation of eco-friendly healing spaces involves transforming the sewage treatment facilities, which were previously perceived as unpleasant, into eco-friendly sites with flower gardens and experiential events, attracting about 7,700 visitors annually.
Additionally, the Jinhae Myeongdong Village sewer pipe installation project invested a total of 2.8 billion KRW to improve residents' living convenience and the quality of the discharge water area by installing drainage facilities and constructing a new manhole pump station.
Lastly, the ‘3C (Cut, Connect, Clean Water) Project’ for improving Masan Bay’s water quality aims to block the inflow of sewage by maintaining sewer pipes along 10 rivers in the Masan area. Maintenance plans are established for each section to sequentially block sewage inflow into each river.
