The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 20th that from the 20th to the 30th, at 7 p.m., at the Sohyang Art Hall of Dongseo University, it will hold the ‘2021 College Entrance Early Admission Briefing Session’ focusing on eight major universities in Seoul for homeroom teachers of third-year high school students in the district.
This briefing session was prepared to assist homeroom teachers of third-year high school students with guidance on early admission for the next year, amid the difficulty of obtaining college entrance information compared to previous years due to COVID-19.
The briefing sessions will be held in the following order: on the 20th, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies; on the 21st, Kyung Hee University; on the 22nd, Korea University; on the 23rd, Yonsei University; on the 27th, Chung-Ang University; on the 28th, Seoul National University; on the 29th, University of Seoul; and on the 30th, Sungkyunkwan University.
Admissions officers from major universities in Seoul will analyze and provide guidance on the previous year’s early admission results and the 2021 early admission guidelines. There will also be a Q&A session to address questions from homeroom teachers of third-year high school students.
The Office of Education will follow COVID-19 prevention guidelines and limit the number of applicants to no more than two per school.
Byun Yong-kwon, Director of Secondary Education, said, “I hope that the college entrance preparation strategies and information obtained by teachers through this admissions briefing session will be well conveyed to students and help them prepare for college entrance and career paths.”
