An official from the Anyang City Waterworks and Sewerage Office stated, "Unlike the Incheon water purification plants, the Bisan water purification plant does not use activated carbon, so the possibility of larvae occurring during the purification process is very low," adding, "We need to verify the reported case today to determine whether it involves the larvae that have recently become a concern."
