22 Courses for Elementary and Middle School Students Including Drone Soccer and Young Gardeners
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] The Mahan Education and Culture Center in Iksan-si, Jeonbuk announced on the 20th that it will operate the 2020 summer vacation student education program for elementary and middle school students during the summer vacation.
According to the Culture Center, the program, which will run for two weeks from August 3 to 14, consists of 22 courses including science, arts, and physical education, and is designed with various programs to enhance students' creativity.
There are activities such as creating your own work using a '3D printer', dynamic 'drone soccer' using drones, artistic activities like 'woodcraft', 'pop art', 'guitar class', 'ukulele', a 'summer reading class' to satisfy humanities sensibilities, and swimming programs for physical fitness improvement.
Additionally, a new program called 'Children's Gardener' will be operated, where children can gain knowledge about plants and directly plant them in pots.
Registration for courses is available from 3 PM on the 20th and can be done through the center's website.
